What we collect

When you submit any form on this site, we collect what you type into it: your email address, and optionally your name and a message. That happens on a few specific forms:

• The contact form on the About page
• The newsletter signup on blog posts
• "Notify me" forms on area pages
• The "free comparison" form on the Compare Areas tool

We don't require an account, and we don't collect any information beyond what you actively type into one of these forms.

How it's used

Submitted information is stored in our database and used only to respond to you, whether that's a market update you asked to be notified about, an answer to a question, or a newsletter you signed up for. We don't sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4to understand traffic and which pages are useful, using standard GA4 tracking cookies. This collects aggregate behavior (pages visited, general location, device type) but is not tied to the form submissions described above unless you separately submit a form. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using browser extensions like Google's own Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data retention and deletion

We keep submitted contact information for as long as it's useful for the purpose you submitted it. If you'd like your information deleted, contact us through the About pageform and we'll remove it.

Third parties

Beyond Google Analytics, this site is hosted on Vercel and its database is hosted on Supabase — both process data only as infrastructure providers, not as independent recipients of your information.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will reflect that.
